2018 Impact Meeting將於107/10/24~107/10/26在台北市南港展覽館盛大舉行，在此之前，本會邀請擔任Impact Meeting Invited Speaker的Professor John R. Thome，於10/22及10/23兩日特別為本會會員及熱管理產業界進行「Micro-Two-Phase Thermal Packaging」專題技術講座。Professor John R. Thome自1998年起任教於瑞士洛桑聯邦理工學院（EPFL）的工程科學與技術學院（STI），主要專長為熱傳與質傳，特別專注於宏觀與微觀固液兩相的流動、沸騰、冷凝以及其熱傳行為，目前擔任熱傳質傳研究室主任(LTCM)及博士課程主任(EDEY)。本次為期兩日的專題課程主要內容，包括微觀固液兩相流動、微通道流動與汽化、冷卻設計模擬及案例研究等。
